1 февраля 1990 года от орбитального комплекса «Мир» отчалило необычное транспортное средство. Космонавты Александр Викторенко и Александр Серебров по очереди со скоростью 30 м/сек. облетели на нем «Мир» и благополучно вернулись к шлюзовой камере. Создатели аппарата из подмосковного объединения «Звезда» назвали свой космический транспорт просто СПК средство передвижения космонавтов. Журналисты окрестили «космическим мотоциклом», хотя СПК больше напоминал летающее кресло. Space Bikers. On the 1st February 1990 quite an unusual transport unit cast off the orbital complex Mir. Cosmonauts Alexander Viktorenko and Alexander Serebrov taking turns in sitting in it flew around Mir at a speed of 40 meters per second and successfully reached back the lock-chamber. Apparatus constructors from the Moscow area enterprise Zvezda called their space transport by an abbreviation MCL (in Russian literally SPK) a mean of cosmonauts locomotion. Reporters nicknamed it as a space bike, although an MCL was more likely to take after a flying armchair. Les Bikers Spatiales. Le 1er février 1990 un véhicule très insolite a quitté les amarres du complexe orbital Mir. Les cosmonautes Alexander Viktorenko et Alexander Serebrov ont volé autour du Mir chacun à son tour à laide de ce véhicule en faisant 20 mètres par seconde et regagné la chambre de transition avec succès. Les constructeurs de lappareil du groupement de recherche et de production Zvezda qui se trouve à la banlieue de Moscou ont simplement appelé leur véhicule spatiale par labréviation MTC un moyen de transport des cosmonautes. Les journalistes lont nommé un bike spatial, quoique le MTC ait ressemblé davantage à un fauteuil volant.
