Tremoring bass lines combined with merciless drumming and hammering guitar riffs deliver an all in all doomy experience which wanders off in other, mostly faster styles, too. The diversified vocals manage to frame the roaming instruments. Kyuss, Tool, Rage against the Machine – all comparisons having been made, which are as true as they are false. Frank Schepper is about one german word: Scheppern. After having published their first album in the fall of 2018, “Ok, Doomer“ now finds its way into the public. As the times got graver in these four years, so did the music of the band. The riffs became heavier, the tone doomier, the lyrics more serious - but they still haven’t forgotten what scheppern means.
