Wisconsin Gray Wolf Released Unharmed from humane Bridger #2 Foothold Trap

This young, male wolf was caught in a pee post set that was targeting gray fox. I would estimate from my experience that this wolf is a yearling and weighs 60-65 pounds. The trap is a #2 Bridger foothold, it is fully modified, which means that it has a gap in between the jaws and extra material to ensure that the animal’s foot isn’t harmed in any way (please refer to other videos where I put my own hand in this same trap). There is also an in-line shock spring on the chain that absorbs the wolf’s energy so that his leg muscles/joints are not harmed in any way.
