Spider Reunion, Debra Long’s 50th Birthday, Drayton Court Hotel, Ealing. 01/12/12

I have known Brian Burrows of Spider for about 15 years now, having worked for his Design company as well playing at many of Brian’s events over the past 15 years. During that time I have got to know the rest of the band, Dave, Colin and Robbie, but never did I think I would see the day that the whole band were back together sharing a stage... This was at Debra Long’s 50 Birthday bash. Deb used to roadie for Spider and has since learnt the bass and now occasionally plays bass on Spider songs at Jam nights and gigs in Brian’s absence! So it was very fitting that the boys eventually decided to all get together impromptually for her birthday... This is the first time in 25 years that the full original lineup of Spider have appeared on the same stage together! This is a collection of clips from the set they played, including a full length version of “Here We Go Rock’n’Roll“. And a great night was had by all...
