Located in southern Jordan, it´s a protected desert wilderness that features dramatic sandstone mountains. The area has been used as a background setting in a number of films, like “Lawrence of Arabia“ and many famous science fiction films like “Prometheus“, “The Martian“, “Rogue One“, “Star Wars - The Rise of Skywalker“ and “Dune“ for the desert planet Arrakis.
