Flaming Youth - Ark 2 (1969) (UK, Psychedelic Rock/Proto-Prog) Full Lp

British rock band Flaming Youth released their only concept album, Ark 2, in 1969. Some time after the release of their debut album, the group ceased to exist. Today, “Flaming Youth” is known mainly due to the fact that it was in it, at the age of 18, that Phil Collins began his musical career. In November 1969, British music magazine NME reported that the album’s concept was the subject of a one-hour television special that the band recorded in the Netherlands. The album “Ark 2“ never became commercially successful. After some time, the single “Man, Woman And Child / Drifting” was also released. After a short concert tour, the group finally broke up.
