Destroyed US Sanctions!Russia Turned to China’s Loongson 5000 Chips.

In the face of US sanctions and the cessation of supplies from major technology companies, Russia has chosen to stand firm and find alternative solutions. Despite the potential devastating impact of these sanctions on Russia’s technological infrastructure, they have decided to adopt China’s Loongson processors as a viable alternative. Russian company Norsi-Trans plans to produce data storage systems, servers, and computers using the Loongson 5000 series processors, which offer performance equivalent to Intel’s i5 processors. They have already started production of the necessary equipment and have around 100 production units. Another Russian electronic manufacturing company, Prombit, also intends to introduce devices featuring the Loongson processors. Russia sees several advantages in adopting the Loongson processors. Firstly, they offer excellent performance, comparable to those of Intel. Secondly, the domestically developed LoongArch instruction set eliminates the risk of being subject to sanctions. This move is a direct response to the impact of sanctions imposed by Intel and AMD. By choosing to collaborate with China in the chip field, Russia is challenging the United States’ strategy of isolation and sanctions. The US has focused its sanctions on both China and Russia, aiming to hinder their technological development and remove them from the global production chain. However, this strategy has inadvertently led to greater unity between Russia and China. Their collaboration not only addresses Russia’s immediate needs but also boosts the rise of China’s Loongson processors. “China Focus“ is a YouTube channel created to provide current events and pop culture headlines from you can get to know a more real China through my video. | #ChineseNews #chips #ChinaFocus Thanks for your watching and subscribing.
