PALLID HARRIER - Gliding over Heather - Circus macrourus

This amazing male Pallid Harrier is believed to be only the second adult male ever to visit the Dunsop Bridge area, (Forest of Bowland) certainly in the last decade. The male Pallid is the palest of all Harriers and the most ghost-like. The video footage shows him effortlessly gliding along the opposite side of the valley, no doubt hunting for small birds, or voles.
