MATCHBOX Restoration No 3b Bedford Tipper Truck 1961

This model truck was destined for the rubbish bin as I personally felt that it was too much work. My wife convinced me to try and make it look new again. This task was extremely frustrating. I actually began to believe that it was possessed. The whole job was two steps forwards and one step back! - My patience was pushed to the limit when, after applying a final top coat of clear varnish, I accidentally dropped the model onto carpet. I then had to start from scratch again. The final look is not as good as it was the first time around. I don’t know why but after re-working it the fillers around the window frame are slightly visible where they weren’t before. With the hard yards done here is the video of the restoration from hell!
