SLO_Gen’s Communal Table

The SLO_Gen Table is a sculptural, almost undefinable gathering tool that is a big focus of the building’s entry. It’s the product of a collaboration between Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo’s Architecture and Environmental Design students in cooperation with Gensler. It took the work of design students Ben Hait-Campbell, Cory Walker, and Kegan Charles Flanderka who created various mockups and collaborations in relationship to design, construction, and purpose. Each came from a different design aesthetic and worke
