Exercises for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) which is also known as prostate gland enlargement, is a very common condition that occurs in men as they get older. An enlarged prostate gland can cause various uncomfortable urinary symptoms, such as blocking the flow of urine out of the bladder, or bladder, urinary tract, or kidney problems. There are several ways to treat an enlarged prostate, and the least invasive and our favorite will be to exercise your pelvic floor in order to strengthen and train your pelvic floor muscles to help control the frequency and urgency of urination. And research suggests that doing exercises, even low to moderate intensity exercises, can yield great benefits for those suffering from enlarged prostate issues. Also, following a healthy diet, such as consuming a low-fat diet, consuming lots of fruits and vegetables daily, especially citrus fruits can help. Try to do these exercises twice daily for best results. Credits: METR & Adrian Benson - Broken Love (feat. Ima Sob
