As he or she matures, there is a second question: why do you play that in that context with those people at that time? The answer is approximately nowhere on YouTube. The latter is a sophisticated question with roots in performance psychology, music interaction, social skills, individual technical capacity, lived experience and his or her unique sonic identity (or ‘idiolect’), and it demands a sophisticated answer. Subscribers and visitors here will know by now that this channel concerns itself more with the latter question than the former. Our focus is primarily about musicianly interaction in performance, rather than advice on how to get a faster paradiddle. Our preferred way of doing that is by showing performance footage of real musicians at work: not how it could be done, but ho
