Happy Hans led the kids parade along with Clarence Uhll on accordion through the streets of Kimberley, BC. The kazoos could be heard as they entered the platzl to open this years Oktoberfest. Live music by Clarence, Ian Ferrie, L8 and the European Touch, a beer garden, a Bavarian obstacle course and a strudel eating contests were some of the highlights of the event. The Mayor was also present to crack the first growler and kick off the day off, along with a German student to help translate.
