Charon Demo

“Charon“ by Lord Dunsany, in a classic Amiga demo by Bradley W. Schenck. This demo was Brad Schenck’s entry in the First Annual BADGE (Bay area Amiga Developers GroupE) Killer Demo Contest in 1988, and won him first price. The demo is available on Fish Disk 198. The appeal of this demo, in my opinion, is not primarily of a technical nature, but more as an early example of multimedia art using computers. The story, music and artwork blend together perfectly. This was recorded using AmigaUAE, and I put some effort into trying to get the aspect ratio right. I did some cropping and resizing using Avidemux. Some random links: #!topic/
