Polkageist: Film by Stephan Talneau - recording by Florent Chaintiou - For those of you following berlinermoment, “Polkageist” are quite familiar. In 2010, Coming home late at night, I got the chance to film with them the first street “berlinermoment”. That night, they managed to gather a crowd of hundreds in the kottbussertor station. From this simple film, I took the inspiration of many other spontaneous films. 4 Years later, what a pleasure to meet them again, to hear their stories and see that the magic is still there. With regularly fully packed concert, and a constantly growing repertoire, these young germans are working relentlessly to keep their audience dancing and singing.
