Miniature Coffin Halloween Tutorial | Dollhouse | How to Make 1:24 Scale DIY

A spoopy 1:24 scale old coffin! Inspiration taken from Pirates of the Caribbean, the 1600’s in general, antiquing, and SpongeBob? Smittywerbenjagermanjensen would be proud. Sorry the ending is so abrupt! The music straight ended and it was too late in the game to fix it (enter shrug emoji here). Picture me doing it. Wood measurements: 4 – 90x8x1.5 mm (front piece) 2 – 32x5x1 mm (front accent pieces) 4 – 69x8x1.5 mm (lower side pieces) 8 – mm (upper side, top, and bottom pieces) 9 – 30x8x1.5 mm (back piece; offset from front piece by 1.5 mm inward) 2 – 87x15x1.5 mm (inside of the front piece; same as back piece measurements after trimming) Most miniature artists create their products in 1:12 scale. I create mine in 1:24 scale; twice as small! My main goal is to keep the detail in such tiny objects that if you were to look at it in a scene, you can’t tell it’s a miniature.
