‘Skinniest’ dog RSPCA rescuer has ever seen alive is now loving life in new home
An abandoned lurcher, described by a rescuer as a ‘walking skeleton’, has found a loving new home.
‘Luca’ was barely alive when he was found by a veteran inspector in Barnsley in April 2023.
Luca is now enjoying a comfortable existence with new owners, David and Gillian Hagan.
The lurcher was cared for by a RSPCA centre in Durham, where he made his odds-defying recovery.
