The VPC ACE-Torq Rudder Pedals design is based on the single axis, vertical pedal movement introduced in early helicopter designs such as the Bell 30 and Bell 47 and featured in more aircraft since. We’re eager to introduce perhaps the most exciting feature on the mechanism - an adjustable clutch damper! The damper can be adjusted to have a wide range of effects on the pedals movement; from damping pedal rebound when returning to center, or even completely removing the axis centering force allowing the pedals to be held in position. Rotorcraft pilots will find this exciting as it will greatly ease hovering and long flights, meaning you can take your piloting skills to the next level!
