DIY Maypole Braider - How does it work?

First test of my “maypole braider“ with an improvised bobbin. It is not yet adjusted right, nor does it show the final design of the bobbin, but you can get a good impression of how the mecanism works and how the bobbin is guided on its path. The machine will be used to fabricate cloth braided wiring harnesses.
