Daniel Pearl Interview Cinematographer of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (40th Anniversary)

Daniel Pearl, cinematographer of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (both the 1974 original and the 2003 remake), reunited for the first time in 40 years with all the surviving cast members of the original film for its 40th anniversary celebration at The Housecore Horror Film Festival in Austin, Texas back in October of 2014. Daniel talks about the making of the film, its fans, and how it led him into a career of shooting feature films. The film’s success also catapulted him into the world of music. He has shot many of the top classic music videos (around 458 in all) including: Michael Jackson in “Billy Jean“, The Police in “Every Breath You Take“, Mariah Carey, Shania Twain, The Rolling Stones and more. Along with all this, he also talks a little bit about what exactly cinematographer does.
