FIRST TIME in SLOVENIA! 🇸🇮 - Exploring MARIBOR and eating the BEST Slovenian FOOD

In this week’s travel vlog we visit Slovenia for the first time. We explore Maribor and eat the best Slovenian food. We start our day at Malca Mimogrede, where we eat delicious Slovenian soup and dumplings drink local wine. We admire the city and can’t believe how beautiful Maribor is. We stop at Hiša Stare trte where the oldest vine in the world is located. At Pekarna & Fast Food Bajro we enjoy some Slovenian desserts, such as the famous Bled cream cake. We only walk a few steps down the road before finding another Slovenian food staple at Pri malem Karlu: Štruklji. We devour a sweet version with juicy blueberries. We admire the Basilica of Our Mother of Mercy and Maribor Castle. We also get to witness the Slovenia Carnival Kurentovanje. Finally, we end our day La Cantina where we eat local meat and cheeses with lard dip, Istrian pasta and a Pizza with Styrian toppings.
