Platerías, Gerardo Taméz - Ricardo Saeb, guitar

Mexican composer, Gerardo Taméz composed this beautiful piece as an homage to the city of Taxco. Taxco is well known in Mexico for its silver, hence the title, Platerías, which means silversmithing. The piece was comissioned by the Guitar Competition of Taxco in 2002, and it’s included in my solo album Zephyr, recorded under the Fleur de Son label. | Instagram: @ | Guitar: Steve Connor 2006
