This is my first movie soundtrack ever so it was quite challenging. At first I had no idea what to do, then I started to brainstorm and put some draft ideas, finally I defined a precise structure of events in the movie and meticulously weaved my web of music and sounds around it. So many times I wanted to make it more complex, add more ideas, more sounds, but I always restrained myself with a principle that a good movie soundtrack should not be noticed by the viewer, it should only enrich the scene, be an organic part of it. So I had a lot of fun and of course I’m hoping to win! #westworldscoringcompetition2020
