Wrath of the Earth! 12 volcanoes have erupted all over the world in a week!

From July 5 to today, 12 volcanoes around the world began to erupt. Volcanic activity occurs in: Bagana, Bougainville (Papua New Guinea) | Eldey, Reykjanes Peninsula | Fagradalsfjall, Iceland | Kirishimayama, Kyushu (Japan) | Klyuchevskoy, Central Kamchatka (Russia) | Kuchinoerabujima, Ryukyu Islands (Japan) | Mayon, Luzon (Philippines) | Nishinoshima, Izu Islands | Piton de la Fournaise, Reunion Island (France) | San Cristobal, Sierra de los Marrabios | Shishaldin, Fox Islands (USA) | Ubinas, Peru. Bagana volcano, occupying a remote portion of central Bougainville Island, is one of Melanesia’s youngest and most active volcanoes. The Eldey volcanic system is located on the northernmost part of the Reykjanes Ridge and is submarine with the exception of Eldey Island. Kirishimayama is a large group of more than 20 Quaternary volcanoes located north of Kagoshima Bay. Klyuchevskoy (also spelled Kliuchevskoi) is Kamchatka’s highest and most active volcano.
