Metalstorm (Slayer) & Creeping Death (Metallica) 1983 & 1984

The opening of both songs sounds very similar to me. The songs are Slayer’s “Metalstorm“, from their 1983 album “Show No Mercy“ and Metallica’s “Creeping Death“ from their 1984 album “Ride The Lightning“. All credits to them. Erratum: The cover of Slayer’s album in the video should be that of “Show No Mercy“ instead of “Hell Awaits“.
