135: Sideshow Dinosauria Carnotaurus Marquette Revisit

It’s time for a 100-after revisit of a review, and how ironic (and timely!) that number 135 should be of the excellent Sideshow Carnotaurus, right after the you-know-what! And if you look at this amazing statue from the Sideshow Dinosauria line, I’m sure you’ll agree no words are needed to convince anyone this is a premium statue that has stood the test of time very well! This Sideshow Carnotaurus encapsulates what I hope to see in any statue. Detail of sculpt, accuracy to anatomy, and a paint application that adds, rather than takes away, from all that. From the regional differences in scalation, such as just the small area of the face, to the care taken in painting the toenails, surely an area not high on the list of priorities for viewers… this statue shows why the Sideshow Dinosauria line was one of the best, and is still sorely missed by many serious collectors. #Sideshow #Carnotaurus #DinosDragons #dinosaurs #dinosaurmodels
