CHINA’S HUNTER-GATHERERS: where are they now? 🦌 中国的狩猎民族现在的生活怎么样？🌲

Did you know that some of China’s 50 ethnic minorities were nomadic hunter-gatherers all the way up until the mid-1900s? 🦌 Some of the older generation of Oroqens in Heilongijang and Inner Mongolia experienced the transition from a roaming life in the forest to a settled life in villages, and we met a few of them deep in the mountain villages near the Russian border 🌲 We learned not only about their traditional culture and ways of life, but also about the lives of the Oroqen people today.
