Bonnard: Bringing Painting to Life

Born 1867, Pierre Bonnard was a French Post-Impressionist, avant-garde painter, illustrator, and printmaker. His artwork became especially known for the stylized decorative qualities, intimate scenes, and his bold use of color, meriting him the title Painter of Happiness.
