1982 December - While on Okinawa, Shinzato Katsuhiko Sensei along with Kishaba Chokei Sensei and his brother Kishaba Chogi Sensei, asked me to offer assistance to their representative Sensei, Toshihiro Oshiro, in California. 1983 / 1984 - In the process of offering assistance I learned Shikina no Tunfa created in USA. I performed this kata successfully in Open Tournaments in USA, but never on Okinawa. Still, I did not want to forget it...
