Crazy scenes of chaos in Mallorca! A devastating storm hit the Spanish resort!

On August 27, the Spanish island of Mallorca was hit by a severe storm. Hurricane-force winds at speeds of over 140 km/h and heavy rain hit the popular resort. The municipalities of Palma and Calvia were most affected. Residents and tourists are posting videos of extreme weather on social media. Resort hotels have become unrecognizable after strong winds and rain. The pools have become like swamps filled with dirt and debris. Cars had difficulty moving on flooded roads with poor visibility. Wind-bent palm trees fell on the island. Tourists flee the beaches in search of shelter, and sun loungers and umbrellas fly along the shore. Several people received minor injuries. In the port of Palma, during a storm, a cruise ship broke away from the pier and collided with a cargo ship. Power outages were also reported. A total of 84 incidents related to flooding and wind have been recorded in Mallorca.
