B-52’s - Private Idaho

“Private Idaho” was released in 1980 on the Wild Planet album by The B-52’s. Written by Fred Schneider, Keith Strickland, Kate Pierson and Ricky and Cindy Wilson, the lyrics utilize the state of Idaho to represent a case of paranoia, while also encouraging the listener to get out of that state of mind. The song would go on to peak at number 74 on the Billboard chart. *Special thanks to MOFI for this special reissue of Wild Planet, playing on their UltraDeck M turntable 🔥Make sure to check out their great vinyl releases.
