Cutting with Friend Ft. Viking Battle Axe (Dane Axe), Cutlass, Arming Sword, Dao, Katana, Longswords

My friend Stephen and I had some fun this weekend cutting bottles and cartons with a Dane axe (called “Viking battle axe“ in pop culture), an Oakeshott type XVI arming sword, a naval cutlass, a Chinese heng dao, and two katanas. This calls back to a pumpkin cutting session we had last Halloween, with a longsword, a half-and-a-half sword, a German lange messer, a gigantic Chinese miao dao, and some archery with my son.
