We visited José Hermida at his home in Spain and were able to be there when he himself disassembled and reassembled his personal Merida Ninety-Six RC9000 in his workshop for a major service after more than 12 months of racing. José Hermida was world champion three times in his extremely successful career and won the silver medal once at the Olympic Games.
