Botticelli to Van Gogh—Masterpieces from the National Gallery, London Opening January 17, 2023 Spanning from the 15th century to 17th century, 52 Masterpieces from the National Gallery , including works by Sandro Botticelli, Raphael, Titian, Jan Gossaert, Rembrandt, Paul Gauguin, Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh, will greet Shanghai audience earlier next year. It follows the 2021 exhibition West Encounters East: Cultural Conversation between Chinese and European Ceramics to contribute to the Museum’s grand programme: Dialogue with the World: Exhibition Series of Arts and Cultural Relics. This exhibition is also one of the highlights of the 70th anniversary celebration of the Shanghai Museum.
