Mediaeval Society (1966)

St Mary Platt, Kent. In a field in Kent we see members of the Mediaeval Society taking off their capes and fencing; dressed in mediaeval costume. They use real rapiers and daggers in their duel. Two other men are seen fighting with staves. Other members of the society fly flags on spears and dress in chain mail and helmets to fight with spears, axes, swords and shields. Note: founder members John Waller and Derek Catlin are seen in this story. Some of the sword clashes and staff clonks on the soundtrack are not quite in synch. Cuts exist - see separate record.
