Níðstöng - The Essence of Eternity (full album, 2021)

Presenting the latest album from Order-member Äkth’s blackened punk and dark ambient project Níðstöng We have previously featured him in just a few of his guises, including visceral black metal project Äkth Gánahëth, and dark ambient naturalistic drone entities Fimbulþul, and Spectral Full Moon. The Essence of Eternity combine elements of all his incarnations into one swirling, boiling, explosive and contemplative album of ice and fire. In Äkth’s own words, Níðstöng is “primitive and largely improvised Folkloric Necro Metal and Ambient for fans of Ildjarn, Sort Vokter, Nidhogg, Haat and Orodruin.” The album is available at NYP from Bandcamp now, and will be released in physical form by Goatowarex later in the year.
