Newmarket, Suffolk. Various shots of horses at Britain’s first Animal Health Trust Equine Research Station at Balaton Lodge, where veterinary scientists investigate horse diseases. Horses are led about and look out of their stables. A horse has his leg bound up with electrical cable. A small pony has electrodes attached to his legs so that his heart can be checked by an electric cardiograph machine controlled by Lieutenant Colonel Hickman.
