Nam Cremation Ceremony

This is the Cremation ceremony in Northern Thailand. The girl’s name was Nam. She was 17 yrs old and a senior in High School when she was killed by a drunk driver. The worst part is her boyfriend was also killed at the same time and the drunk driver was a Monk. She was a very good hearted person and was respected by so many at such a young age. Over 500 people attended the cremation and to put that into perspective, there are only 300 people in her village. In case you were wondering, the Monk is no longer a Monk and is currently in Jail.
