We are proud to honor Rabbi Mike Moskowitz with the 2020 Landres Courage for Dignity Award. About Mike: Rabbi Mike Moskowitz– Visionary activist, scholar, and educator. Rabbi Moskowitz is the Scholar-in-Residence for Trans and Queer Jewish Studies at Congregation Beit Simchat Torah – CBST, the world’s largest LGBTQ synagogue. Rabbi Moskowitz is a deeply traditional and radically progressive advocate for trans rights and LGBTQ equality. About the award: The Landres Courage for Dignity Award is given to a deserving recipient who has exhibited public courage as an ally in the cause of advancing and assuring the inclusion of LGBTQ people, or more broadly, who has used their privilege even at some personal risk or cost, to ensure dignity for someone or some group without privilege.
