DOGE’S PALACE Venice

Formerly the Doge’s residence and the seat of Venetian government, the Palace is the very symbol of Venice and a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. We explored the various rooms and chambers, marvelling at the impressive artworks and ceilings. The highlight was walking across the Bridge of Sighs to the prison cells that ajoin the Palace.
