Wheat, Cherries, Sanctions and Payment in Roebels

The Russian government has added grain, sunflower oil and extracted meal to the list of exports that must be paid for in rubles as from July 1, 2022. A resolution giving effect to the decision was adopted and published on the official portal of legal information of the Russian government. I was in southern Donetsk, last week and saw the wheat fields of the Donbass. The wheat is according to the farmers laying in the grain silos, ready to be shipped to also Europe. The problem is the sanctions, so they can’t enter EU ports and alot of mines still laying around in the Azov sea.
