πŸ“ Origami Ping Pong Racket w/ Heart 🧑

[Rather Simple] How to fold an β€œI 🧑 Ping Pongβ€œ Ping Pong Racket πŸ“. It includes a color-changed heart 🧑 on the back that shows through to the front when you shine a light behind it. I designed this model during a 30-minute Zoom tutoring session with my student, Rishi who had requested it. We successfully folded it in just about 12 minutes. In the time left over, he requested to fold a Ping Pong Table, and I managed to design that too while he folded along. It might seem surprising that it all happened in a half hour, but I have designed two people playing ping pong (a long time ago), so this Ping Pong Raquet and Table were relatively easy and straight forward to design. However, the heart on the back of the ping pong racket, the final tucking in of the flaps on the Ping Pong Table and the later discovery that the Table could be collapsed into a locked square for storage, well, ya, those were epiphanies! Here is the tutorial for the Ping Pong Table: To fold a Ping Pong Raquet that fits into the pockets of the Ping Pong Table (as I showed in the Ping Pong Table tutorial), use a square that is 1/16 of the size of the Ping Pong Table. So for example, if you folded the Ping Pong Table from a 6-inch square, then you would want to fold the Ping Pong Racket from a square, and to accomplish that, first fold the 6-inch square into a 4X4 grid and cut off a one unit square to fold the Ping Pong Racket. So if you want you could fold 16 tiny Ping Pong Rackets from one 6-inch square! Now that you have the table and racket, you can play ping pong! How can you make a ball that will bounce on the table? I don’t know; I haven’t tried, but perhaps you could roll up a little ball of paper, tissue or aluminum foil. Let me know if you figure it out! #origamipingpongracket #ilovepingpong #jeremyshaferorigami Timecodes: 0:00 - 0:43 Intro 0:43 - 8:41 Tutorial Here are some ways to support me in my origami work: 1.
