Ighina on his words - 1995 VHS1 - (Incomplete) “Ighina in his words“, every video recording by the Italian researcher Pier Luigi Ighina, now translated into all languages! “VHS 1“ is the first of two parts, but it is incomplete. The second part, “VHS 2“, has a duration of about 40 minutes; it is, therefore, logical to assume that about 30 minutes are missing... and here I put myself in your hands, beautiful Community! Can you help me? Anyone who knows where to find the whole “VHS 1“? ;) These shots were made in 1995. Ighina was 88 years old and visibly struggled to deliver the messages already repeated for decades. Also, Italians his age tend to speak a cruder version of the Italian language. Therefore, the translation process was impossible “word for word“, so I had to reformulate everything he said in the correct form of Italian, reconstructing entire sentences, otherwise misunderstood, even in the original language. I chose this approach because I have heard or read the same narrative several times before, dictated by a much younger and fresher Ighina. I have done my best to provide you with the most impartial and faithful translation possible, without adding personal thoughts or subtracting information from it (I must confess, it wasn’t easy!).
