Bach - Chorale Wenn mein Stündlein vorhanden ist BWV 430 | Netherlands Bach Society

There are several indications that the music of the chorale ’Wenn mein Stündlein vorhanden ist’ (BWV 430) originates from Bach’s lost Markus-Passion - BWV 247. The text largely comes from 1575, by cantor, teacher and writer Nikolaus Herman and sums up the Christian idea of salvation: after the pain of earthly life comes heavenly joy. The chorale is performed here for All of Bach by the Young Bach Fellows.
