Get this snare drum here: In this video I am demonstrating the Gretsch S-5514GL-PBR Legend 5.5“ x 14“ Brass Snare. This is simple snare drum that packs a big sound. The beaded brass shell and hardware help to deliver a cracking rim shot but it is also sensitive enough for all of your ghost notes and buzz sounds. The drum is a 5.5“ x 14“ beaded brass shell with triple-flanged hoops. One cool feature that is different then many other snare drums is the direct lug-to-shell contact without lug gaskets. This another way of bringing out the tone of the drum and you can really tell when you do a buzz roll or anything that starts from the edge of the drum and ends in the center. The volume and warmth definitely build in a very musical way. To finish off this very nice package you get an easy to use ratchet style throw-off with the ability to adjust the snare wire tension on both sides of the drum. If you are lookin
