Patricia’s 21st Birthday Party (1960-1969)

Note: Suspect this item refers to the “Goodlatte’s“ and their house “Robin Hill“. Father and daughter (Patricia ?) walk towards the vast Marquee, we see the garden pond/lake with fountain. Interior Marquee waitress’s walk past carrying various dishes. We see an enormous birthday cake with “Many happy returns 21“ on it. Large displays of flowers and chandeliers. Father and Mother greet the guests as they arrive in their fur coats. All the guests seem very well healed, kisses and hand shakes all round. Quests stand around in evening dresses smoking and drinking, Patricia is beaming. It is a classic Upper class function, the men in dinner jackets, well laid tables, wheeling in the enormous birthday cake, speeches (alas no sound) handing Patricia a large 21’st Key, a five piece band and lots of ballroom dancing. The last shot is of a smiling Patricia next to her boyfriend ? or relative. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV. IT’S FULL OF GREAT DOCUMENTAR
