This is a recording of the world premiere of my piece for string orchestra “Village“, commissioned By the Microcosmos Quartet and the Kessler Academy 2017, ()Here is a Transcript of the program notes I delivered orally at the performance: “I received an email in February from the Microcosmos Quartet asking me if I wanted to write a piece, and I said ’absolutely!’, because it would be really amazing to have Music on Main put on a show with a piece of mine in it. And so, like and good composer, I procrastinated, for about 10 days, after which I sent them two ideas. They liked both of them, which was not exactly helpful... So I decided to write a piece for Canada 150.
