Strange beautiful arthropod found on leafy forest floor in Bukit Kiara, Malaysia. long. Six-legged. 3 rows of hard protective shield in the head and thorax region. Abdominal section has 8 rows of hard pedunculated spinous knobs. Colour: dark brown with bright yello-brown highlights. Head and tiny antennae is retractable. Goes under the hard thoracic shieds when touched. Moves very slowly. body moves in waves as the legs walk. There is a white coloured suction cup at the rea
