Schoolgirl swept up by tornado during sports meet in NW China

A primary school student was swept up by a tornado-like whirlwind during a sports meet in Guazhou County, northwest China’s Gansu Province on Wednesday afternoon. The girl was rushed to hospital after she fell to the ground. She was found to be suffering minor injuries in the back of the head, and was soon discharged.
