Podcast:
Last summer I met up with archery coach Arne Moe to work on my form and technique. Even though I primarily bowhunt vs compete in target archery, I believe the fundamentals apply to each. Arne has a Level 4 certification in NTS, which not only means he understands proper shooting biomechanics, but has also proven that he knows how to coach it. Originally, the issue I had was that the string would contact my nose and face upon release. After working on the relaxed string arm and a rotational draw about my core, I’ve pretty much eliminated my ailment, am shooting much better, and able to hold at full draw more comfortably.
